Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, shrub pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, and turf care to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy.
- Operate power tools such as ride-on mowers, lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades for planting, soil preparation, and general garden upkeep.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards and address them promptly.
- Support the maintenance of machinery used in landscaping tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the use of equipment such as ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers etc.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot power tools and machinery effectively.
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
- Basic understanding of horticultural practices to support landscape maintenance.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
