Are you a talented and passionate Cook looking for flexible work? Jubilee House Nursing Home is seeking a reliable Bank/Relief Cook to provide cover for annual leave, sickness, and periods of increased demand within our kitchen team.

What We’re Looking For:
· An experienced Cook or Chef with a passion for preparing nutritious meals.
· Someone who is organised, dependable and able to work confidently in a busy kitchen.
· A strong understanding of food hygiene, safety and compliance standards.
· A flexible team player who can adapt quickly and maintain high standards.
· Experience catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional needs is desirable.
Your Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus and residents' dietary requirements.
· Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
· Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe and compliant with food safety regulations.
· Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team as required.
· Contribute ideas for menus, themed events and seasonal dishes.
· Work collaboratively with care staff and management to provide an excellent dining experience for residents.

Note: the hourly rate includes an uplift to account for Working Time Regulations, as the role is on a relief/bank basis and does not accrue annual leave in the standard way.
