Come and join the crew here at Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge – Your award-winning ‘climbing centre meets theme park’ right here in Cambridge – as we are on the lookout for a new member of the team to come on board as a CLIMBING TEAM MEMBER.
Successful applicants will be invited to a group interview on 19th or 20th August 2026.
We are looking for someone with regular availability for at least 6-8 hours on a Sunday, with the potential for other additional hours during the school holidays and Saturdays.
We’re all about CHALLENGE, EXCITEMENT, CONFIDENCE, ACHIEVEMENT (and, of course, SAFETY!). Whether it’s helping a child reach the top of a climbing wall or serving up smiles in the café, our job is to help people feel proud of themselves and have fun — guests, teammates, and ourselves included.
This is a blended role that combines customer interaction with physical tasks in a vibrant indoor climbing environment. You’ll need to move confidently around the centre which is over two levels (stairs, no lift), support children in energetic play, and respond quickly to situations across the venue.
Our CLIMBING TEAM MEMBERS are on hand to help our customers while they are in the climbing area and briefing sessions, always showing up with amazing great customer service, helping to keep everyone safe and making our guests’ time with us as enjoyable as possible!
You’ll be called upon to help run customer climbing sessions and safety briefings, using and checking equipment, helping with maintenance and cleaning, filling out checklists and report and working with the rest of the team to keep our high standards of health and safety and customer-care. Full training will be given and we hold termly training sessions to continuously work on skills to ensure you're fully supported at all times.
For those 18 years+, you may be asked to take part in our Youth Group sleepovers. We have a team who looks after the site overnight, with the Youth Group leaders being responsible for the children.

- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow company procedures.
- Interested in sport and physical activities - it's what we do!
- Oh, and happy to climb to a height of 10 metres!
