Responsibilities
Assist with the setup and preparation of roofing sites, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.
Support skilled roofers by handing tools, materials, and equipment during installation and repair tasks.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install roofing components accurately.
Help with heavy lifting of roofing materials such as shingles, metal sheets, or tiles to ensure safe handling and placement.
Follow schematics and technical drawings to assist with precise installation of roofing systems.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Support other construction activities including carpentry, masonry, plumbing or general site tasks as needed.
Experience
CSCS CARD (required)
Previous experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of roofing systems, schematics, welding techniques or masonry work is a plus.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely is essential.
Experience working with construction drawings or blueprints helps ensure accurate project execution.
A proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills will help you thrive in this energetic role.
Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
