Ad Hoc Cleaning Operative – Hemel Hempstead (HP2)

About the Role
We are currently looking for reliable and experienced Cleaning Operatives to join our cover team for sites in Hemel Hempstead (HP2).
This is an ad hoc position, ideal for candidates seeking flexible work. Successful applicants will be contacted when cover shifts become available and may have the opportunity to work across multiple client sites.
We currently have two types of shifts available:
Shift Option 1
- Monday to Friday
- 1.5 hours per day
- To be completed between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
Shift Option 2
- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Shift availability will vary depending on client requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- General office cleaning
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens and communal areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washrooms
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Restocking consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
- Ensuring all assigned areas are maintained to a high standard
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional cleaning experience
- Previous office cleaning experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ideally located within reasonable travelling distance of Hemel Hempstead
