A2B Cleaning Services – Chester-le-Street

We're looking for two reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join our growing team at a school in Chester-le-Street.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent evening work with the added benefit of having school holidays off.
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 3:30pm start
- Approximately 2–3 hours per evening (final hours to be confirmed)
- Around 12–15 hours per week
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Mopping, vacuuming and dusting
- Emptying bins and maintaining high cleaning standards
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Additional hours may be available during the six-week summer holidays to assist with deep cleaning throughout the school.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
DBS Requirement
An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.
If you do not already hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, A2B Cleaning Services will arrange and pay for this.
Holiday Requirements
Due to the nature of the role, annual leave must be taken during school holidays. Unfortunately, holidays cannot be taken during term time.
