Key Accountabilities
- To provide support to the Care Manager with staff supervisions, training, risk assessments, client reviews and assessments and to offer ongoing support to the care team
- To cover care shifts supporting clients with a variety of personal and practical care tasks
- To provide on call and duty manager cover (duty phone and alternate weekend cover
- To liaise with other professionals such as district nurses, doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists etc, to ensure that clients receive a high standard of care
- To support with recruitment of care assistants including calling prospective candidates, interviews and subsequent administration
- To provide office and administrative support including answering the phone, paperwork and general office administration
- To ensure that all care management and general administration related policies and procedures of The Private Care Company are adhered to
- To manage and monitor the use of The Private Care Company’s Care Management System
Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
- The Care Certificate
- Significant prior experience as a Care Assistant, ideally in a senior role
- Experienced in delivering more complex care
- Experienced in multi-skilled care delivery
- Good working knowledge of IT systems such as Office, Excel, Word, Outlook and the ability to learn and use computer software
- Extremely well organised and professional
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- A full clean UK driving licence and own call essential

Working Hours:
- 0700 – 1900hrs - 4 days per week, rolling two week pattern (alternate weekends working)
- On call phone 1-2 eves a week (additional on call payment)
- Week 1 = Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2 = Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
