Duties
- Assist qualified teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to students’ unique needs, including those with disabilities and autism
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring they stay focused and motivated
- Implement creative writing exercises and tutoring sessions to enhance literacy skills
- Foster a supportive environment through mentoring and positive communication with students
- Help develop and adapt teaching materials to meet individual learning goals
- Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback for ongoing improvement
- Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusion and respect for all learners
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with children and individuals with disabilities
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs, including autism, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus
- Creative writing skills to support literacy development initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, tutoring, and supporting diverse learners
- Prior experience in education or related fields is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
