Role
Joint Operations Ltd is looking for an experienced Order Processing Assistant to work within our Customer Services Team, and alongside our Technical Services Team. The Order Processing Assistant will provide outstanding customer service support and will become an integral part of the Joint Operations Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service and Order Processing:
- Receive purchase orders and check all details are correct before accepting them
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and area managers via email/telephone to provide frequent updates on ETAs, backorders, pricing or general queries
- Manage the email inbox diligently, prioritising more urgent, time sensitive orders/requests independently
- Prepare suitable and presentable boxes for high value medical products and ensure delivery addresses on shipping labels are correct
- Arrange collections for customer returns using various courier options
- Check and process customer returns
- Send daily order reports to our off-site dispatch warehouse
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience in order processing within a similar industry
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics
- Proficiency in using stock control systems, Excel and other relevant order processing software
- Strong data analysis skills to drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately, in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to problem-solve and to take a proactive approach when resolving issues
- A positive attitude and a pride in completing tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,500.00 per year
