Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice

We are acting on behalf of a growing accountancy practice in Manchester that is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant to strengthen its team.
This is a client-facing role offering responsibility, variety, and long-term progression within a modern, forward-thinking firm.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of SME clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Completing corporation tax computations and returns
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients
- Reviewing junior staff work
- Supporting the firm’s continued growth
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Have experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Be confident dealing with clients at all levels
- Have strong technical skills across accounts and tax
- Be organised, proactive, and commercially minded
