We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join the team at Fishlocks Pharmacy in Ainsdale on a part-time basis.
Fishlocks is a busy, well-established community pharmacy and one of the strongest-performing pharmacies within RB Healthcare. The branch benefits from an experienced and supportive team who work closely together to provide an efficient pharmacy service and excellent care to the local community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with community pharmacy experience who is looking for a stable part-time position within a strong team, with opportunities to continue developing their pharmacy career.
The Role
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work alongside our pharmacist and wider pharmacy team to support the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
- Providing friendly and professional service to patients and customers.
- Responding appropriately to prescription and medication enquiries, referring to the pharmacist when required.
- Communicating with GP surgeries, healthcare professionals and suppliers.
- Supporting the day-to-day organisation and workflow of the dispensary.
- Assisting with stock ordering, stock management and date checking.
- Maintaining an organised, safe and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues during busy periods to ensure patients receive an excellent service.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous community pharmacy experience would be preferred.
A recognised Level 2 pharmacy dispensing qualification would be advantageous. We would also welcome applications from candidates with relevant pharmacy experience who are keen to continue their training and development.

Working Hours
This is a permanent part-time position for 16 hours per week.
The proposed working pattern will be discussed during the recruitment process. Applicants are encouraged to provide details of their availability when applying.
Some flexibility to support the pharmacy with additional hours during periods of annual leave or sickness would be welcomed, although this is not a requirement of the contracted 16 hours.
