Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and wellbeing of children
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care routines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety policies
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues regularly
- Foster positive behaviour through effective behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of daily nursery operations
- Support new staff or students in their training and development programmes
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance childcare skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Assist with administrative tasks related to child records and daily reports
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent recognised by early childhood education standards
- Proven experience working or studying within a nursery or early years setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of current childcare legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices in early childhood education.

Please note that we are open from 7.30am-6pm from Monday - Friday. The working hours will be within these times. We are closed for all bank holidays and the last 5 working days of the year, guaranteeing you time off over Christmas.
