Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive self employed Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- , Maintain and update financial records using accounting software - Sage and Xero
- Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions regularly to ensure accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary reports and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes and ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage vendor communications related to payments and account inquiries
- Assist Director in ad hoc duties
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage and Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills for liaising with vendors and team members
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
