About the Role
Careaid Limited is looking for a dedicated, organised and compassionate Care Administrator to join our team at our London Bow Branch.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support and assist with the coordination of service users, care staff and schedules. You will work closely with the Care Manager, Senior Office Administrator and senior management to support the smooth and effective delivery of our domiciliary care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the branch.
- Maintain accurate service-user and staff records, including electronic and paper files.
- Update information on the Care Management System and other office systems.
- Maintain staff and service-user schedules and assist with arranging appropriate staff cover.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Act as a first point of contact for service users, staff, visitors and professionals.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding and related administration.
- Record staff starters, leavers, changes and sickness absence.
- Assist the Care Manager and senior staff with administrative and operational tasks.
- Communicate professionally with care staff, service users, NHS, Local Authorities and other agencies.
- Assist with meetings, audits, training and other office activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection, CQC and company requirements.
- Undertake other reasonable duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.

- Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Be professional, reliable, approachable and compassionate.
- Have good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Be confident using computers, Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
- Have previous administration or care-sector experience (desirable but not essential).
