The Sportsman Pub in Elm is a village pub with a strong customer base; both locally and as a destination. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.
The candidate must have a passion for delivering freshly cooked food with precision, within our comfortable-working, air-conditioned kitchen.
We are looking for someone who is creative and can contribute to menu updates.
Demonstrable experience (2 years minimum) of working in a professional kitchen is required.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts. 30 hours per week.
This will involve working both day-times and evenings, midweek and weekends on a rota basis. We currently serve lunches 6 days a week and evening meals 5 days a week. Anticipate working 4-5 days a week.
Hourly pay will be commensurate with experience.
