Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required and you must have a car.

This role involves working on both domestic and commercial gardens, carrying out a variety of gardening and grounds maintenance tasks. There will also be opportunities to work alongside our landscaping team, allowing you to develop new skills and learn additional trades.
Key Responsibilities
As a Grounds Maintenance assistant, you will:
- Carry out and a wide range of gardening tasks including:
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding and planting
- Leaf and debris removal
- Border maintenance and mulching
- Seasonal planting and garden care
- Plan and organise daily workloads, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Carry out site inspections and identify additional maintenance needs or client requests
- Monitor tools, equipment, and materials in your vehicle and report stock needs to the Contract Manager
- Occasionally work alongside the landscaping team on installation projects
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Good knowledge of gardening equipment and safe working practices
- Strong communication
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude and passion for maintaining outdoor spaces
- Commitment to health & safety and company procedures
