Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Van Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Boldon. This is an temporary/ongoing position for the right and an IMMEDIATE START.
MUST HAVE AN UP TO DATE DBS CERTIFICATE!
Hours of work:
· Days 10:00 starts
Salary:
· £14.25 per hour inclusive of holiday pay - £12.71 + £1.54 hp.
. PAYE only NO umbrella companies
The Role:
· 3.5t Van work.
. Delivering for a food wholesale supplier – Multidrop
. Occasional Saturday is required
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
· Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
· To complete deliveries in accordance to time scale.
· To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
· To comply with health and safety at all times.
. Able to maintain good working relationships
Essential Skills:
· Must hold a valid licence
· Must be over 21 due to insurance stipulations
· Good communication skills
· Good customer relations
· No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
