Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences and provide expert advice
- Perform hair cutting, colouring, styling, and barbering services with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
- Manage efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised and maintained to the highest standards
- strong communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment
- Skilled in hair styling, barbering, colour application, and related techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively to clients’ requests
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
- Knowledge of current hair trends, products, and industry best practices is desirable
