Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team in a care home in Carlton. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, communal areas, according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and hygienic.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens or clothing.
- Follow specific client or organisational instructions regarding cleaning procedures and schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, nursing homes or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable.
