HQC London Limited is looking to add an experienced Pitched Roofing Supervisor / Competent Roofer to its approved CIS subcontractor list to support future pitched roofing works.
The role is suitable for an experienced roofer, lead roofer, roofing supervisor or small roofing subcontractor who can provide roofing trade competence and support HQC with technical roofing oversight on future projects.
Scope of Work
The role may include:
- reviewing and/or supervising pitched roofing works;
- advising on underlay, battens, gauge, laps, fixings and tile/slate installation;
- checking eaves, verges, ridges, hips, valleys, abutments, flashings and rainwater interfaces;
- supporting site hold-point checks before roof areas are closed up;
- identifying workmanship issues or technical concerns;
- working with HQC’s Project Manager / Site Supervisor to support safe, compliant and good-quality roofing delivery.
Minimum Evidence Required
Applicants should be able to provide:
- roofing qualification or skills evidence, such as NVQ Roofing Occupations, Roof Slating and Tiling, Roof Tiling, RoofCERT, CSCS Skilled Worker card, or equivalent roofing trade evidence;
- Working at Height training;
- CV including pitched roofing experience;
- UTR / CIS details;
- public liability insurance;
- availability and day rate / project rate.

- SSSTS / SMSTS;
- asbestos awareness;
- manufacturer training;
- examples of previous pitched roofing works.
Pay: £25,805.60-£67,783.50 per year
