Housekeeper - Etive Estate
Join our housekeeping team at one of Scotland’s most beautiful private estates.
Built in 1909 by renowned Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer, Etive Estate has been a thriving family estate since 1985. Today, the estate is home to 8 luxury self-catering properties, ranging from 3-bedroom cottages to 7-bedroom villas, accommodating 8 to 18 guests, alongside our exclusive wedding venue, welcoming visitors from around the world.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our friendly team.
The Role
Working closely with the Estate Manager and the housekeeping team, you’ll help ensure every property is presented to the highest possible standard before each guest arrives.
Typical working hours are 10:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility across weekdays and weekends depending on bookings.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing our luxury properties for arriving guests.
- Changing beds, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas to an exceptional standard.
- Ensuring every property is fully stocked and beautifully presented.
- Reporting any breakages, maintenance issues or guest damage to the Estate Manager.
- Identifying and reporting any properties that require additional or deep cleaning.
- Helping us maintain the exceptional standards that our guests expect.
What We’re Looking For
- A keen eye for detail.
- Pride in producing work to a consistently high standard.
- A reliable, friendly and positive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred due to the estate’s rural location.
