Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic full time Bar supervisor to join our team. Duties
- Supporting the site manager
- Running shifts on management days off
- Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
- Prepare and replenish beverages, ensuring accuracy in orders
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and washing glassware
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Assist with stock control, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the till system
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations in accordance with health standards
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements
- Supervisor/ management experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for customer-facing roles
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Flexibility to work during peak seasons, including weekends and evenings as required
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
