About Us: We are an established, independent West London cafe and restaurant group with a proud 17-year history of running successful spaces across Fulham and Kensington. If you are passionate about premium raw ingredients, modern aesthetics, and elevating daylight dining, we want you to shape our offering.
The Role: We are seeking a highly creative and visually-driven Chef to help lead, innovate, and execute our menus. You will bridge the gap between contemporary brunch culture and vibrant, seasonal lunches. This is a brilliant opportunity to exercise genuine creative freedom, develop new dishes, and build a cohesive culinary identity across our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Design and launch creative, photogenic brunch and lunch dishes that evolve with the seasons, focusing on grain bowls, elevated egg plates, and artisan open sandwiches.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring meticulous food styling, consistent quality, and efficient service during busy daytime peaks.
- Sourcing & Supplier Relationships: Collaborate with high-end independent suppliers to secure top-tier local produce, artisan grains, and specialty ingredients.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain flawless food hygiene standards, handle stock control, manage food waste, and oversee section profitability.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven Track Record: At least 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-quality contemporary restaurant or specialty brunch café.
- Creative Flair: A deep understanding of modern food trends, seasonal produce, and beautiful plate presentation.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to flavor balancing, consistency, and clean culinary execution.
