Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our yard, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are managed effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can communicate well.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm (negotiable) plus overtime
Responsibilities
· Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
· Maintain an organised yard by managing the placement of vehicles and equipment.
· Manual and mechanical movement of waste material
· Sorting of waste materials for recycling/disposal by different sources
· Counterbalance FLT B1 licence is essential
· Banksman experience desirable
· Must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
Skills
· Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management
effectively.
· Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
