Job Summary
We are looking for full-time or part-time Bar Staff to join our team at The Floating Bridge, Coombe Road, Dartmouth, Devon, TQ6 9PQ - with immediate starts available.
Experience is essential - we are a very busy establishment looking for hospitality superstars who can hit the ground running.
We would consider seasonal applicants or candidates looking for a permanent role - live-in accommodation can be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Ensure responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to keep the bar fully equipped
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods smoothly and efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a bartender or bar staff in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Excellent communication skills, including serving guests courteously and clearly
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence
- Must be at least 18 years old
