Job description:
Stonedale Construction is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker to start immediately on a live supermarket construction project in Telford.
This role covers all aspects of groundworks, and with strong forward work secured across the region, it offers the opportunity for long-term, continuous employment beyond this project.
What you'll be doing:
- All aspects of groundworks including excavation, drainage, and foundations
- Installing below-ground and above-ground drainage
- Concrete work – footings, slabs, and formwork
- Kerbing, paving, and hardstanding
- Working from site drawings and setting-out information
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a groundworks team
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Groundworker on commercial construction sites
- Valid CSCS card
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to start immediately
- Own transport an advantage due to site location
- Plant tickets would be desirable
