We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team at our Prudhoe site. This is a great opportunity for someone with admin experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and providing excellent support to both customers and colleagues.
As a Transport Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring information is recorded accurately, reports are completed on time, and customer queries are handled professionally.
You'll work closely with the transport team, gaining valuable experience within a fast-paced logistics environment while being part of a welcoming and collaborative workplace.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Produce and maintain customer service and transport performance reports, ensuring accurate and timely data submission
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates, resolve queries, and support day-to-day transport operations
- Accurately input, maintain, and update transport and operational data across company systems and databases
- Generate regular reports and analyse operational information to support decision-making and service delivery
- Provide administrative support to management teams, including taking meeting notes and preparing documentation
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience in an administration role or similar office-based position
- Great communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues
- Strong customer service skills and a helpful, positive attitude
- Excellent IT skills, including using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks accurately and stay organised
