Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Rep to join our expanding sales team working in the stone industry promoting and selling our range of Quartz and Ceramic slabs to stone fabricators across the Midlands and South. The vast majority of our slabs end up as kitchen worktops both in residential and commercial settings.
Quartz Hub is a growing startup wholesaler in it's fourth year of trading. We are a small, friendly team where you will be working closely with all the staff and owner. We operate a supportive and inclusive working environment where everyone's opinions are actively encouraged to be put forward.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients within primarily the Midlands, driving sales growth, and representing our brand professionally.
With a basic starting salary of £30k per year excluding bonuses, there is significant opportunity to earn commission for the right candidate of £50k+.
This role requires you to physically visit stone fabricators and kitchen showrooms 3-4 days of the working week with 1-2 days being spent at our warehouse.
A clean driving license is essential and company car is provided.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned geographical areas to expand our client base.
- Manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and optimise sales approaches.
- Lead negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and product development to align sales initiatives with organisational goals.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the relevant industry sector preferred but not essential.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
