We are looking for a Support / Care Assistant to join our fantastic team here at Maple Ridge Care Home, which is situated on the west side of Inverness. There will be an opportunity to progress to a relief Senior Support Worker for the right candidate.
Maple Ridge is a privately owned establishment, which was purpose-built in 1987 and provides accommodation for 18 adults with varying degrees of learning disabilities on the west side of Inverness. At Maple Ridge, we are committed to providing our residents with a high-quality service based on their individual needs and wishes.
As a Support Assistant, you must have an enabling attitude, be motivated and caring, and have a fun and friendly nature. As part of your role, you will be supporting residents with meals, personal care, attending appointments, building and maintaining relationships with families/ friends, medication, activities within the home, and social outings of their choice.
The rate of pay is £13.65 per hour. The right candidate must be prepared to work flexible hours, which include weekends.
We also provide a welcome bonus to new staff who complete our 6-month Induction Training Programme.
The shifts are between the hours of 7 am & 10.00 pm (candidates must be flexible).
Support / Care Assistant requirements

SVQ2/3 is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided and support is given to complete this qualification.
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record.
Driving License (if over 30) is desired.
