The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and confident Tanning Consultant to join our team. You’ll be the face of Studio Sun, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards throughout the studio.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, friendly experience.
- Advise customers on tanning packages, memberships and tanning lotions.
- Carry out customer consultations and ensure safe tanning guidelines are followed. (Full training provided, no tanning experience require)
- Process bookings and payments using our booking system.
- Clean and sanitise tanning rooms and equipment after every session.
- Keep the reception and studio clean, organised and well-presented.
- Restock products and monitor stock levels.
- Promote current offers and encourage product sales.
- Open and close the studio when required.
- Handle customer enquiries both in person, over the phone and online.
- Follow all company policies and health & safety procedures.

- Good attention to cleanliness and presentation.
- Sales or retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants must:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Be comfortable working alone.
- Opening/closing the shop independently.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Be able to work shifts that may finish after 10:00pm.
- Be flexible to cover additional shifts when required.
- Live locally or be able to commute to work at early/ late times.
