Join a team that helps ambitious businesses grow.
Stacksmiths is a strategic marketing agency that helps ambitious businesses build and grow through branding, websites, software and digital marketing.
We work alongside our clients as trusted partners, helping them make better decisions, solve problems and achieve long-term growth.
We're looking for someone to join our brand-new Client Partnerships department.
You don't need years of experience or a degree. We're much more interested in who you are than where you've worked. We can teach systems and processes. We can’t teach kindness, reliability, or willingness to help.
If you're organised, enjoy speaking to people, take pride in doing a good job and like solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in client services, account management or project management within a growing agency.
The Role
As a Client Partnerships Assistant, you'll support our Client Partnerships team in ensuring our clients receive an outstanding experience from the moment they join us.
You'll become one of the friendly, reliable faces of Stacksmiths, helping clients, supporting the wider team and making sure projects keep moving smoothly.
No two days are the same. One day you might be organising meetings and updating clients, the next you could be coordinating website changes, helping to prepare proposals or helping organise a client workshop.
You'll work closely with our Client Partnerships Lead and Head of Client Partnerships, learning how we manage long-term client relationships and helping projects move efficiently across our Marketing, Web and Creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Be one of the first points of contact for our clients by phone and email.
- Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Support the Client Partnerships team with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Schedule meetings and manage diaries.
- Prepare meeting agendas and organise meeting rooms.
- Attend client meetings where appropriate, taking notes and following up on actions.
- Update clients on project progress.
- Coordinate website change requests and other client work.
- Raise tasks within Jira and other project management systems.
- Create projects within Harvest and maintain accurate project records.
- Ensure the wider team has everything they need to deliver projects efficiently.
- Produce quotations, proposals, onboarding documents and other client paperwork.
- Assist with monthly reporting and invoicing administration.
- Keep our CRM and project systems accurate and up to date.
- Support continuous improvements to the way we work.
What We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who ticks every box.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and approachable.
- Naturally organised.
- Calm under pressure.
- Curious and keen to learn.
- Confident speaking with people over the phone and in meetings.
- Able to communicate professionally in writing.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership.
- Comfortable juggling several different tasks.
- Someone with good common sense and attention to detail.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role isn't essential, and we'd much rather meet someone with the right attitude than the perfect CV.
Whether you've worked in hospitality, retail, administration, customer service or you're looking for your first office role, we'd encourage you to apply if you think you'd enjoy this position.
Full training will be provided.
Technical Skills
Experience with the following would be useful but isn't required:
- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace
- CRM systems
- Project management software (Jira, Monday.com, Asana or similar)
If you've never used them before, we'll teach you.
Why Join Stacksmiths?
You'll be joining a growing agency where you'll have genuine opportunities to develop your career.
This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing forever. We believe in promoting from within wherever possible, and this position offers a clear route into Client Partnerships, Account Management and wider agency leadership as you gain experience.
You'll work closely with experienced people across marketing, web development, software and creative, giving you exposure to how successful agencies operate and how ambitious businesses grow.
To Apply
Please send us your CV together with a short cover letter telling us:
- Why this role interests you.
- What you think you'd bring to the team.
- Why you think you'd be a good fit for Stacksmiths.
This doesn't need to be long - we're simply interested in getting to know you.
