About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer Supervisor to lead our site team and ensure all bricklaying and masonry work is delivered to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, great leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day bricklaying operations on site
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, drawings, and building regulations
- Set out work areas, levels, and measurements accurately
- Conduct quality checks and resolve any issues on site
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment
- Lead and support bricklayers and apprentices
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce H&S procedures
- Communicate with site managers, project managers, and other trades
- Keep records of progress, materials, and team hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bricklayer with supervisory or foreman experience
- Strong understanding of bricklaying techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical plans
- Good communication and team‑leadership skills
- CSCS card (Gold/Blue preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is a bonus
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage workloads effectively.
