We are seeking a motivated and dependable Night Recovery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks, to recover and transport assets during night shifts
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after recovery runs, ensuring mechanical integrity and safety compliance
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Utilize warehouse experience to manage recovery documentation, logs, and inventory records accurately
- Handle loading and securing of recovered items on flatbeds or other transport equipment with care and precision
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation and recovery procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver with a focus on recovery or transportation roles
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver license or equivalent certification
- Prior warehouse experience preferred to understand logistics workflows and inventory management
- Mechanical knowledge essential for inspecting vehicles, troubleshooting issues, and performing basic repairs if needed
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, dispatchers, and clients
- Familiarity with flatbed truck operation is highly desirable for secure transportation of recovered assets

Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
