One Warwick Park is a 39 bedroom 4* star hotel, has an on-site restaurant, 2 bars and various function and conference spaces.
Working closely with our Food Service team delivering excellent service throughout our business. you will be self-motivated and will be expected to be the faces of our business maintaining high levels of customer service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering an attentive experience to guests and diners
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Serving food and drink promptly and diligently
- Monitoring all aspects of the customers' experience - from the restaurant layout
- before they arrive, to the experience they receive while there, and act to enhancethat experience and remedy potential problems so that service is seamless
- Maintain the exceptionally high standards of the restaurant
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests
- Handling complaints, requests and enquiries
- Acting as an ambassador for the establishment· Becoming and remaining fully knowledgeable on the food and drinks menus
- Hands on approach with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas
- Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
- To assist in the receipt of deliveries.
- To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by a member of the management team in order to fulfil the needs of the business.
Key Skills and Knowledge
- Have previous experience working in a waiting/serving role in a similar high quality environment
- Have great organisational and communication skills
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Be energetic and enthusiastic towards your work, positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible
- Experience with cash handling
Due to the nature of the work you will need to be aged 18 or over and be able to travel to and from Tunbridge Wells and be available to work some evenings and weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
