Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Maintain cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency throughout the shift
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or hazards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and bending
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
