ROLE: Mobile Mechanical Engineer
HOURS: 08:00 - 17:00
LOCATION: North West London (MET Police sites)

We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer who will work across the MET Police contract, supporting two sites within the same account and delivering high‑quality maintenance and engineering services.
Role Responsibilities-
Carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault‑finding tasks across North West London MET Police stations.

Act as a key point of contact for the client, answering queries, reporting defects and keeping them fully updated during service visits.

Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, including inspection logs and remedial records.

Work across two sites located opposite each other under one contract.
Job Purpose-
Service, maintain and repair plumbing and ventilation installations, including AHUs, intake/extract systems, thermal wheels, FCUs and water system assets.

Maintain and support systems such as booster sets, chlorifiers, and water heaters.

Deliver consistently high levels of service and professionalism for the client.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
What We're Looking For-
A background in facilities management or mobile maintenance.

Experience working on‑call across a region.

Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing or Heating & Ventilation qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).

Experience in commercial building maintenance from a mechanical engineering perspective.

Willingness to undergo MET Police SC Clearance (may take up to 6 months).
