Med At Olana is a family run independent Bistro in Barnsley town centre. We are looking for someone who can bring confidence and personality to the role.
experience is essential as you will be required to take charge when our restaurant manager is away. We are a fully fresh food establishment, where we focus on great food and great vibes!!

Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate team members across front-of-house and back-of-house functions, including serving, bartending, and food preparation
- Oversee food safety protocols, proper food production techniques, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with the team to deliver excellent hospitality experiences, including handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory levels for food and beverage supplies, including bar stock and kitchen ingredients
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving procedures and hospitality best practices
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism

Pay: From £13.15 per hour
