Domestic Abuse Officer (Job Ref 26-23)
Salary £24,414 - pro rata, per annum
Part-time - 16 hours per week

At Young Devon we are committed to making a difference for children and young people. This is a new and exciting opportunity to deliver trauma-informed support focussed on reducing the impact of trauma and empowering the young person to move forwards and achieve their goals.
You will be based in Newton Abbott YES centre as well as working in a range of community settings and schools. You will hold a manageable caseload and provide a range of support tailored to the individual needs of the young person. This might include support around safety planning, self-esteem, managing emotions, understanding the impacts of trauma, healthy relationships and making informed choices. We also work with young people on learning respectful ways to manage conflict.
Your support will be a combination of face to face, online and group work sessions and you will be skilled at creating a safe, confidential, enjoyable space wherever you meet.
