Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail in every task undertaken.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PAPER HANG
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in construction painting techniques with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
