We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hard Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, working on various landscaping projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design and realisation of hard landscaping features such as patios, pathways, walls, and driveways.
- Operating machinery including excavators, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Conducting landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, turfing, and soil preparation.
- Installing irrigation systems and ensuring their proper functioning across different projects.
- Preparing sites by clearing debris, levelling ground, and laying foundations for various structures.
- Performing routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to safety standards.
- Assisting with construction activities related to garden features or outdoor structures as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or construction environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, power tools, and other landscaping equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as spades, trowels, levels, and saws.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles and gardening techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans for landscape projects.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical fitness with the capacity to perform manual labour outdoors over extended periods.
