Looking for a job where you can genuinely make a difference?
You don’t need previous experience working with children. What matters most is your attitude, patience and the kind of person you are.
We’re working with a fantastic children’s home that is looking for a female Waking Night Support Worker to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a career where no two nights are the same, and where the work you do really matters.
You’ll be supporting young people through the night, helping them feel safe, settled and supported while maintaining a calm and secure environment.
What will you be doing?

- Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment
- Completing regular checks and making sure the home remains safe
- Helping young people who may wake during the night and providing reassurance when needed
- Recording relevant information and completing night-time paperwork
- Working as part of a wider team to provide consistent care
- Building positive relationships with the young people and being someone they can rely on
No experience? That's okay.
You don’t need to have worked in a children’s home before. You might come from care, education, hospitality, retail, security, support work or another background altogether.
If you’re caring, reliable, emotionally resilient and genuinely want to help young people, we want to hear from you.
You’ll receive the training and support you need to develop into the role, with genuine opportunities to progress within the organisation.

- Full UK driving licence – this is essential
- Must be aged 25 or over due to the requirements of the role
