Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter/Cleaner to join our team.
The job involves washing utensils, cleaning equipment and cleaning the kitchen after our catering events. You will play an essential role in supporting the efficient operation of our preparation kitchen by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
This is a lone-working role, so you must be self-motivated and able to manage tasks efficiently whilst working independently.
Location: Cariocca Business Park,Ardwick, M12 4AH
Hours: 3-9 per week on a casual basis
Shift length 3-4 hours. Usual start time 22:00/23:00 although we can offer flexibility if you prefer to work mornings or have other commitments, start time 05:00
Duties
- Using a dishwasher to clean pots, utensils and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Complete deep cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
- Positive approach and attention to detail in all tasks
- Commitment to maintaining high standards
- Comfortable lone-working
Progression
In our busiest period from November 6th to December 22nd, we have up to 30 hours available per week
Pay: £13.50 per hour
