We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team working in a state-of-the-art dispensary with robotic technology. The vacancy is initially a minimum of 22.5 hours (three full days, although additional hours may be available for the right candidate.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
· Provide excellent customer service and advice to patients regarding their medication
· Maintain accurate records and manage stock levels efficiently
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
· Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Essential Requirements
· NVQ Level 3 dispensing qualification, we will consider NVQ Level 2 with excellent dispensing experience
· Independent dispensing
· Ability to accurately following standard operating procedures
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent team working and communication skills
· High level of professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with customers by phone and face-to-face
· Excellent IT skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to work well under pressure
Desirable
· Knowledge of EMIS Web
· Previous experience in a GP Dispensing Practice
Flexibility is vital with the ability to work full or part time between the hours of 8:00am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to do some 8:00am starts and 6:30pm finishes to fit with our opening hours. Closing date for applications is Wednesday 24th June 2026.
