Job Summary
The Operations Assistant will support the Head of Operations in coordinating travel, logistics, production activities, and general operational administration across the business. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, sound judgement, forward planning, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for assigned tasks, and supporting the smooth delivery of productions, events, and day-to-day operations. The ideal applicant will possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
The role reports to the Commercial Operations & Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
Travel & Logistics Coordination
Responsible for organising and managing UK and worldwide travel arrangements, including:
- Booking rail travel, flights, and hotel accommodation
- Arranging taxis and local transport
- Making dinner reservations
- Booking and managing vehicle hire details
- Researching and coordinating visa requirements and travel vaccinations
- Liaising directly with actors and team members regarding travel plans
Production & Casting Support
- Assist in the coordination of production activities:
- Booking rehearsal spaces
- Organising auditions in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Audition Directors:
- o Scheduling audition dates and coordinating candidates
- o Contacting and booking candidates
- o Attending auditions (as required)
- Supporting with props and costume organisation
- Assisting the Head of Operations with large-scale events (e.g., Company Open Day at Sadler’s Wells)
- Preparing and distributing new actor information packs and ensuring actor details are kept up to date
General Operations Support
Provide administrative and operational assistance across the business:
- Preparing estimated expenses for new work opportunities
- Assisting with telephone and service contracts for the delivery team
- Monitoring and managing shared email inboxes
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake any additional duties reasonably required by the Company
- Provide support across teams as needed
- Adapt to evolving business needs and priorities

Pay: £17.00-£22.00 per hour
