This role is a Self Employed position and would suit a Male or Female with at least 5 years of Professional Gardening experience. RHGS was established in 2005 and we have a Customer Base of over 100 regular clients. We now have an opportunity for someone with a passion for gardening to help us especially during the summer. We expect that you will have the relevant experience in the Safe use of Hand Tools, Machinery and basic Health & Safety. This is a Full Time position, and you will work Monday to Friday. We do not work weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general gardening duties such as planting, pruning, and weeding
- Maintain and care for existing landscapes, gardens, and lawns
- Operate power tools and equipment for landscaping tasks
- Irrigate plants and maintain proper watering schedules
- Use hand tools for precision work and detail-oriented tasks
- Monitor and control pests and diseases in plants
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and appearance of the garden or landscape
Requirements:
- Full Clean Drivers Licence - Ability to drive a small Van.
- Ability to take instruction and follow by example
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise tasks
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members or clients
