Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies according to health and safety standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by helping with dishwashing and clearing tables when needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
- Contribute positively to the team environment by staying motivated and proactive
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential—enthusiasm is key!
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary support and hospitality operations
