The Role: Quality Assurance/Inspector
The Quality Assurance/Inspector plays a vital role in the evaluation of 200 master trainers over a 3-year national workforce development programme in Saudi Arabia. Working under the guidance of the Lead Reviewer, you will conduct in-class observations, participant interviews, and produce bilingual (Arabic/English) reports aligned to a structured QA framework.
This role ensures the collection of accurate, evidence-based insights into trainer delivery and effectiveness, contributing to the programme’s goals of raising instructional standards and supporting consistent, high-quality learning experiences. Observers work collaboratively in mixed-background teams to provide well-rounded, fair assessments and uphold the integrity of the evaluation process.
This role blends field-based evaluation with analytical report writing and offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to human capital development across the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-Class Observations: Conduct 2-day in-class observations of master trainers during training sessions, including attendee interviews (~10%).Apply the QA framework to assess delivery, engagement, and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Evaluate delivery, engagement, and effectiveness using a structured QA framework. Draft clear, bilingual (Arabic/English) reports (~1,200 words) within 2–3 days of observation. Revise reports based on feedback from the Lead Reviewer to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaboration and Feedback: Collaborate with co-observers, participate in calibration sessions, and provide input during the pilot phase. Coordinate with the Lead Reviewer and Project Manager to align on deliver.
- Logistics and Travel: Coordinate with the Project Manager on scheduling and travel across Saudi Arabia (up to 5 trips per cohort). Maintain flexibility to participate in multiple observations per round.
- Training Participation: Attend training and periodic workshops to maintain methodology alignment, QA criteria, and reporting format.

Qualifications (We're interested in anyone who meets all of the following):
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training, HR, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in training observation, teaching, or professional evaluation.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written), with ability to draft bilingual reports.
- Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia and adapt to flexible working schedules.
Desirable
- Experience in adult learning or professional development, particularly in the GCC/KSA.
- Familiarity with QA frameworks or assessment methodologies (e.g., rubrics).
- Prior experience in bilingual reporting or cross-disciplinary team collaboration.
