Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient FOH/Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and operate the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, lids, and other essentials.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar front-of-house role within the hospitality industry is desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour is preferred.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
