Duties
- Safely handle materials through picking, packing, stocking, and load/unload activities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely to move heavy or bulky items around the warehouse.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch or storage.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves correctly and ensuring items are stored securely.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
- Ability to load & unload goods efficiently while following safety procedures.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control and accurate order processing.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: £27,000.00-£280,000.00 per year
