We are now seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team, who can work when the business requires you to work.
As a Kitchen Porter, and occasional Server, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Your primary responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans using dishwashers and by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- Re-stock and put away food and drink deliveries as needed.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and Cafe floors at the end of each day.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food safety guidelines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
